We have been celebrating our 15th birthday this weekend with some fantastic flower arrangements and bouquets on display. I spent the day in the courtyard between Alderley Flowers and The Paperie doing flower demonstrations whilst customers enjoyed drinks and home made cupcakes!

There was also a raffle to win a bouquet of flowers every month for a year as well as other great prizes.
For children there was a colouring competition to win a giant 'Diddlina' at our sister shop, 'The Paperie', as well as 10% off all Diddl products this week! All profits from the day went to 'Help For Heroes'.

It got a little heavy on the hips after a while!

This is a fabulous item that everyone should own!

It's a galvanized metal circular container containing miniature glass test tubes that

are great for filling with short flower heads and bits of foliage.

When your bouquet of flowers needs to be cut shorter to get a few more days out of it, simply cut the stems and place into test tubes of water.

Alternatively, you could cut a few flower heads and sprigs of foliage from your garden!

Following on with the theme using hot cerise pink Phalaenopsis Orchids

this design also incorporates some decorative leaf manipulation and unusual accessories.

This selection of matching designs are often used for home parties and events as they can be easily adapted to suit any room or venue.

Emma made this unusual column design, which is really striking, with just a few flowers strategically placed and some very interesting foliage.

A modern design that looks great on a coffee table. Rolled Aspidistra leaves form the basis of the design, with minimal flowers and a few decorative accessories. An easy arrangement you can create at home.

At this time of year we can't get enough of Hydrangea's!

We all love them, and we always have a selection of varieties.

This bouquet has the really eye-catching vivid 'Blue Pimpernel', with 3 white Calla liles and dramatic foliage.

NEW Chocolates

We are delighted with our new chocolate supplier, Theobroma Cacao of London.

We are even more excited than we normally are when we get a chocolate delivery as we are the exclusive stockist outside of London for these gorgeous and innovative goodies!

These super sized pink oriental lilies are 'Robina'. They make quite a statement in this vase arrangement. The recipient was understandably delighted with her gift.

A beautiful summery vase arrangement waiting to go out on delivery yesterday.

A really pretty pedestal arrangement which had the most fabulous scent!

Dean Row Chapel is beautiful, and the flowers we

used in the windows looked just perfect. 

The tables were also decorated with fresh Rose petals and crystal gemstones.
